Quartz Glass Ceramics
There are two kinds of quartz ceramics. One is made of crystalline quartz (quartz sand or crystal) at 1600 degrees, and the other is made of quartz glass ceramics produced by grinding quartz glass at 1200 degrees. Quartz glass ceramics is a new kind of high temperature resistant material. It has the advantages of poor thermal conductivity, small expansion coefficient, high temperature resistance, good thermal stability and low cost. It has been successfully applied to metallurgy, building materials, chemical industry, national defense, scientific research and other departments.
Quartz (SiOz) material has extremely low mature expansion coefficient, high temperature resistance, high wear resistance, good chemical stability, electrical insulation, low and stable hysteresis, near ultraviolet (red) visible light penetration, high mechanical properties, etc. Therefore, high-purity quartz materials are widely used in modern laser technology, semiconductor, communication, heavy light source solar energy, national defense high-precision measuring instruments, laboratory physical and chemical instruments, nuclear energy, nano industry, etc. The main quartz materials in the semiconductor manufacturing process are quartz furnace tubes, quartz crystal boats, quartz rings, quartz grooves, windows, process equipment and other related quartz elements.
Quartz processing includes: plane grinding, polishing, cylinder cutting, cutting, groove processing, curve processing, special-shaped processing, ultra-fine drilling and punching, film coating, etc.
Not only visible light, but also light of a wide range of wavelengths, from ultraviolet to infrared, can show good penetration.
2. High purityIt is composed of only SiO2 and contains only a very small amount of metal impurities.
3. Heat resistanceThe softening point is about 1700 ℃, so it can also be used in a high-temperature environment of about 1000 C. And the coefficient of thermal expansion is small and can withstand drastic temperature changes.
4.Resistance to acid, alkali and organic fluid
