Application of Technical Ceramic Materials in Automotive

In the automotive industry, new ceramic materials can be used to make car engines. In the early 1980s, Toyota conducted research on an adiabatic ceramic engine. This engine can operate at temperatures in excess of 3300°C. The ceramic engine does not require a cooling system, so a significant portion of the weight is saved, which improves fuel efficiency. And according to Carnot's heat engine theorem, fuel efficiency also increases with temperature.
