Laser Pumped Cavity Ceramic Reflector

The body of the ceramic reflector is prepared with purity 99% alumina Al2O3. The body is fired at appropriate temperature to retain proper porosity and proper body strength. The surface of the reflector is fully coated with high-reflectivity ceramic glaze technology. Compared with the gold-plated reflector, the major advantage is that its service life is extremely long and the reflection characteristic is diffuse reflection.

Preparation process of Laser Pumped Cavity Ceramic Reflector
1. Preparation of green body: Ceramic reflector is made of ceramic mixed with 99% alumina. The green body is processed from raw material preparation - molding - trimming - degreasing - plain burning to inspection;
2. Product preparation
1) Glaze slurry preparation: raw material weighing - grinding - sieving for standby;
2) Glaze application: spray coating;
3) Glaze firing: the semi-finished products after applying glaze are fired by high-temperature glaze;
4) Inspection: after glaze firing, the ceramic reflector willl go for appearance inspection, dimension measurement and reflectance measurement;
5) Packing.

The properties of Laser Pumped Cavity Ceramic Reflector
1. The surface is fully glazed for high reflectivity and easy cleaning;
2. The reflectivity reaches 97% at the wavelength of 600-1000nm;
3. The reflectivity exceeds 95%at the wavelength of 380-1100nm;

4. The green body has appropriate porosity and high-strength characteristics.
